AMM Technologies LLC has developed the AmmSensor™ a revolutionary new 9 Degrees-of-Freedom (3D - 9DOF IMU= Accelerometer: Ax, Ay, Az; Gyroscope: Gx, Gy, Gz; Magnetometer: Mx, My, Mz; 250Hz ++), inertial sensor. The most versatile, low cost, Bluetooth enabled, motion sensor in the world today! The self-contained AmmSensor™ has everything needed for motion measurement, in a small light weight package; 68mm x 43mm x 18mm, 42gms. It can measure human motion, machine motion or any motion! The attractive slim line package, weighing less than 1.5oz, can easily be worn on the wrist, leg, around the waist or on any part of the body.

The AmmSensor™ combines a tri-axial accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer with Bluetooth wireless communication in a small light package. All channels are sampled at simultaneously at high speed (250Hz) to provide accurate 3D position and angle data even at high motion rates. AmmSensor™ has been designed for high speed sports motion (2000d/s and 12g) but can easily be switched to measure slower motion for rehabilitation applications (450d/s and 4g).

The AmmSensor™ can communicate wirelessly with either a laptop or a smart phone; in fact with any Bluetooth enabled host. This enables such applications as motion biofeedback or motion data logging with the sensor on your body, talking directly to a cell phone on your hip or a laptop on the desk.

A simple software demonstration program in VB will help you to write your own programs in most languages VB, C#, C, Matlab and Labview. Additional applications are available for motion capture and graphing, plus real-time biofeedback for sports and rehab training applications.
